About Our Guest:
Dr. Katrina Cryder is a Chiropractor, Applied Clinical Nutrition Counselor, and co-owner of Touch of Health. Dr. Katrina grew up in a small town in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Her decision to become a chiropractor came after working for her own chiropractor as a teenager. Her inspiration to pursue this career path came through the many healing stories she was told by the patients of the practice. She was deeply inspired by the body’s ability to heal itself through restoration of the nervous system. As a teenager Dr. Katrina struggled with acne for many years. After exploring many conventional treatments that failed to work she discovered the healing power of nutrition. As she slowly transitioned to healthier habits she saw great improvement in her skin. Combining nutritional therapies with chiropractic has allowed Dr. Katrina to help many patients over the years improve their health and well being. In 2010 she fulfilled her dream of creating a family centered wellness studio in Sandy Springs, GA with her best friend and business partner, Melissa Merritt, LMT. Dr. Katrina lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two girls. She specializes in helping tired moms create healthy practices without needing to do it all perfectly.

About Your Hosts:
We’re Amanda and Rebecca - twin sisters, naturally-minded homebirth mamas, and co-founders of Progressive Pregnancy. We’re on a mission to help you have a more empowered entrance into motherhood.
Amanda Shipley, PT, DPT, MTC is the founder of Renew Pelvic Health in Atlanta, GA, and has been a physical therapist for more than 20 years. For the last 17 years Amanda has focused on helping patients prevent and heal pelvic floor issues. Her mission is to change the standard of care so that pelvic physical therapy is a part of a complete wellness strategy, like going to the dentist. Amanda is passionate about preventing pelvic floor issues and supporting her patients through the life transitions that we know affect the pelvic floor so strongly - pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause/menopause, and before/after surgery.
In addition to her work with homebirth education, Rebecca Squires is also a management consultant who helps healthcare entrepreneurs improve operations, build their team, and grow their practice in a sustainable way. She volunteers with a local animal rescue and a non-profit homeschool organization that serves the metro Atlanta area.
