About Our Guest:
Stephanie Dorfman, M.Ed., CHD is a certified holistic doula, and educator/coach for the childbearing year and beyond. With an educational background in psychology and human behavior, as well as over two decades of experience supporting families through transitional times, she has come to understand that there is a deep richness in approaching life’s most pivotal moments from a holistic perspective, and that exploring all of the elements of an experience creates space to honor these seasons in a way that cultivates deeper understanding and growth. Change is inevitable, and often complex. Stephanie endeavors to help people fully experience transitions by guiding and supporting the process of claiming and embracing both their beauty and messiness, and alchemizing a mindset of “this or that” into one of “both, and.” Through highly-individualized coaching sessions, and full-spectrum (conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and loss) hands-on doula support, Stephanie supports individuals and couples in artfully and holistically navigating life's most tender and sacred seasons. She also offers workshops and support circles to help build the supportive communities that are necessary for us to thrive. Stephanie believes that shared experience is a bridge to connection and healing, and she strives to help you build your bridge.
